The barley grass is grown on certified organic fields in southern Germany without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. It is usually harvested in spring when it is about 10–15 cm tall, as it has the highest nutrient content at this stage.

The subsequent, very elaborate freeze-drying process preserves maximum freshness and nutrient density.

The final production step before final quality control and filling into our own vegan capsules is pulverizing. For this, we use slow, specialized mills without heat to protect the sensitive nutrients such as chlorophyll, vitamins, and enzymes.
