Origin of the name
Our brand name "Scheunengut" (Barn Estate) is a tribute to our roots. Growing up in the countryside, barns were always more than just buildings to us – they were a playground, a refuge, and later, a place of work. From an early age, we helped out on farms during school holidays and developed a deep connection to nature and its bounty. With "Scheunengut," we bring this tradition to our products: natural, honest, and with the care that can only come from a genuine passion for nature.
PRODUCTION ON SITE
Since day one, we have placed the highest priority on complete quality control. For this reason, our products are manufactured exclusively in Germany under the strictest conditions, without compromise. Every raw material before production and every finished batch after production are meticulously tested in independent laboratories for active ingredient content, purity, and quality. This ensures that only the best goes into our 100% recycled packaging. We are also proud to create jobs through our local production and contribute to the regional economy.
NATURAL AND PURE
At Scheunengut, we place great importance on ensuring that our food and medicinal plants originate from their original region and are cultivated in harmony with nature. The less processing, the more powerful their natural active ingredients are preserved. Our products are therefore as natural as possible.
Our products deliver natural active ingredients in their purest form, free from contaminants or harmful additives. Wherever possible, we rely on organic or wild-harvested ingredients and gentle extraction methods.

from Barn Estate®
Malte (left, in the mountains) has been passionate about sports and health since his youth. Due to thyroid problems, he began exploring alternative medicine early on. Before Malte arrives at the office, you can bet he's already been to the gym or out for a run. His motto: "Every product we bring to market has to be one I can wholeheartedly recommend to my family and friends."
Alessandro (always on the go) has also been involved in outdoor sports since his sixth birthday. From football and athletics to surfing, he now lives out his passion in Portugal. With great sensitivity, empathy, and customer focus, he conscientiously manages all teams, even remotely. Twice a year, he flies to major commodity partners to negotiate new contracts.

Dr. med. Stockmann - Product Development and Research
Mr. Stockmann joined our team in December 2022 and heads the Product Development and Research team. Born in Leipzig, he completed his medical studies (affectionately known to us as "good old Gerd") in Kiel and India, where he became familiar with the profound aspects of holistic Asian medicine. We are very pleased to have him as a leader, even if only for 20 hours a week. His experience is a great asset to us.
Philipp - Shopping
Philipp has been in charge of purchasing our raw materials since the very beginning. After completing his apprenticeship as a wholesale and retail merchant, he worked for several years in the grain and herb trade in the Far East. "You learn everything about every plant there," he says of that enriching experience. Before we enter into a new partnership with a farmer, Philipp or someone from his team carefully inspects the conditions on site. This is the only way we can guarantee the highest quality raw materials and thus eliminate the need for intermediaries.
Clara - Marketing
Clara has been leading our in-house marketing team since March 2023. After five years at a larger agency, she was looking for a new challenge as a PPC and SEO specialist. Together with her team, she ensures optimal visibility for our company and our products. If everything goes well, we'll keep popping up on your screen in some form or another. When that happens, you know Clara and her team have done their job.

Scheunengut was born out of a passion for health, healing, and alternative medicine. The lack of natural, high-quality products on the market provided the initial motivation for founding Scheunengut: We wanted to know firsthand what went into the products. As natural as possible, absolutely pure, free from all additives, and of the highest possible quality.
