Cynarin is a bioactive compound (= a substance that interacts with cells, tissues, or biochemical processes in the body, thereby triggering specific physiological responses) belonging to the polyphenol group. Thanks to its antioxidant, cholesterol-lowering, liver-protecting, and digestion-supporting properties, cynarin can contribute to general health.

Artichokes also contain bitter compounds, flavonoids, minerals, trace elements, and vitamins.

Good thing we paid attention to that

Our artichoke extract is derived from the whole leaves of Italian artichokes and is standardised to a guaranteed content of at least 5% cynarin.

Extraction is carried out in two stages: once with pure water for all water-soluble constituents, and once with food-grade alcohol for all fat-soluble constituents (the alcohol evaporates completely after extraction). As always, no chemical solvents are used, so the natural purity of the high-quality raw material is fully preserved.

The dried, pure 30:1 extract is filled into our own vegan capsule shells. 100% free from additives, colourings, or fillers. Production has always taken place under the strictest requirements in Germany – no compromises.

Recommended intake

Take 2–4 capsules daily as needed with sufficient liquid. Preferably after a meal.
