What makes this complex special is the clever combination: the proanthocyanidins (OPC) from French maritime pine bark are absorbed by the body considerably better when vitamin C is present at the same time.

That's exactly why we combine the high-dose 25:1 pine bark extract with 475 mg OPC per capsule with natural vitamin C from camu camu. OPC is one of the best-known plant-based antioxidants, and vitamin C also contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Good Thing We Paid Attention to That

Our pine bark extract is obtained from cleaned, dried and subsequently crushed parts of French maritime pine bark and is standardised to a guaranteed content of at least 95% proanthocyanidins. We source exclusive batches from the region south of Lacanau. We source our camu camu from a smallholder farmer in Peru.

The extraction of our pine bark is carried out in two stages: once with pure water for all water-soluble compounds, and once with food-grade alcohol for all fat-soluble compounds. The alcohol evaporates completely after extraction. As always, no chemical solvents are used, so the natural purity of the high-quality raw material is fully preserved.

The dried, pure 25:1 extract is blended with the camu camu extract and filled into our own vegan capsule shells. 100% free from additives, colourants or fillers. Production has always taken place under the strictest requirements in Germany – with no compromises.

Recommended intake

Take 1 capsule daily with sufficient liquid. Preferably in the morning after the first meal.

Ich nehme den Pinienrindenextrakt mit dem hohen OPC-Anteil jetzt seit gut zwei Monaten, vor allem fuer meine Venen und die Durchblutung, da ich beruflich viel stehe. Meine Beine fuehlen sich abends weniger schwer an, das haette ich so nicht erwartet. Zusaetzlich soll OPC ja ein starkes Antioxidans sein, was mir fuer die Haut entgegenkommt. Die Kapseln sind geschmacksneutral und gut vertraeglich. Einen Stern ziehe ich ab, weil ich erst nach mehreren Wochen einen Effekt gemerkt habe, Geduld ist gefragt.

Von den Kapseln an sich kann ich nichts Negatives sagen, sie sind gut verträglich und lassen sich leicht schlucken. Nur habe ich vom hochgelobten OPC bei mir keinen spürbaren Effekt bemerkt. Schade, hatte mir für Haut und Gefäße mehr erhofft. Vielleicht bin ich da einfach nicht der richtige Typ.
