The Mexican wild yam provides diosgenin, a plant-based phytosteroid traditionally valued in natural medicine for female hormone balance – especially during times of change.

Our extract is highly concentrated at a 10:1 ratio and standardized to 20% diosgenin, with 1000 mg per daily dose. A powerful herb for women rooted in tradition – cleanly processed and highly concentrated.

Good thing we took care of that

Our Wild Yam Extract is, as the name suggests, derived from the roots of Mexican wild yam and standardized to a guaranteed content of at least 20% diosgenin. We source exclusive batches from Mexico for this. There, the plants are cut down to ground level and then dug out of the soil. The roots are inspected for quality and condition right on site. The subsequent cleaning, drying, and grinding of the roots is a highly involved process that requires a great deal of experience.

Extraction is carried out in two stages: once with pure water for all water-soluble compounds, and once with food-grade alcohol for all fat-soluble compounds. The alcohol evaporates completely after extraction. As always, no chemical solvents are used, so the natural purity of the high-quality raw material is fully preserved.

The dried, pure 10:1 extract is filled into our own vegan capsule shells. 100% free from additives, colorants, or fillers. Production has always taken place in Germany under the strictest standards – without compromise.

Recommended Intake

Take 2 capsules daily with sufficient liquid. Preferably in the morning after the first meal.
