Lactic acid bacteriaLactobacilli play a central role in maintaining a healthy vaginal flora. They support the balance of the vaginal microbiome and protect against harmful germs.

The acidic environment prevents bacteria, fungi, and viruses that cause vaginosis or Candida from multiplying.

Furthermore, our lactobacilli produce hydrogen peroxide. It has antimicrobial properties and inhibits the multiplication of pathogens.

A healthy balance of lactic acid bacteria is crucial for vaginal health. Probiotics such as Frauenflora®, which contain lactobacilli, can help support the balance of the vaginal flora, especially after antibiotic treatments or in cases of recurring infections.

We obtain our 4 lactobacillus strains reuteri, rhamnosus, crispatus and acidophilus (Lactic acid bacteria) in a multi-stage biotechnological process that is mainly based on fermentation.

Once the bacterial populations have reached a sufficient size, we separate them from the nutrient solution. This is done by centrifugation to concentrate the bacteria.

The extracted lactobacilli are then stabilized by freeze-drying and made more durable without losing their viability.

Finally, the ingredients are simply pulverized and filled into our enteric-coated vegan capsules. 100% free of additives, colorings, or fillers. Production has always taken place in Germany under the strictest regulations – without compromise.
