Astaxanthin is the red natural pigment from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis – and one of the most powerful antioxidants nature has to offer. It neutralizes free radicals, helping to protect cells from oxidative stress.

We deliver a strong 12 mg per capsule from French, vegan algae cultivation – significantly more than many standard products. Especially popular with anyone who spends a lot of time in the sun or in front of a screen.

Good thing we paid attention to that

In nature, the blood rain algae (Haematococcus pluvialis) grows in freshwater environments and is found mainly in cooler regions in still waters such as lakes. Under stress conditions, such as strong sunlight or nutrient deficiency, the blood rain algae produces large amounts of the red pigment astaxanthin, which gives it its characteristic red color.

Our process for obtaining astaxanthin is much more sterile. The algae farm in western France harvests the cultivated algae while it is still green and then cultivates it in special rooms with gentle UV light. The algae is placed in a "mild" stress situation and, as a defense mechanism, continuously produces astaxanthin.

Before it is filled into our vegan capsules, specially designed for the oxidation-sensitive substance astaxanthin, several patented steps take place, allowing us to offer a pure and protected active ingredient that is second to none.

100% free from additives, colorants or fillers. Final production has always taken place in Germany under the strictest standards – no compromises.

Dosage

Recommended intake

Take one capsule every 2 days with sufficient liquid. This corresponds to a daily intake of 6 mg astaxanthin. Preferably after a meal.

Food supplement

Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the stated recommended daily intake. Keep out of reach of young children.

Store in a cool, dry place. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat.

Nehme das Astaxanthin vor allem für die Haut und meine Augen, die bei viel Bildschirmarbeit schnell müde werden. Nach ein paar Wochen bilde ich mir ein, dass beides besser geworden ist. Einen Stern ziehe ich ab, weil die Kapseln recht klein sind und ich am Anfang skeptisch war, aber die Qualität passt.

Ich nehme Astaxanthin jetzt schon die dritte Dose und möchte es nicht mehr missen. Gerade im Sommer habe ich das Gefühl, dass meine Haut die Sonne besser verträgt und nicht mehr so schnell rot wird. Auch der Teint wirkt etwas frischer und gleichmäßiger. Die Kapseln sind klein und geruchsneutral, die Einnahme also überhaupt kein Problem.
